I am a translator for Liberties.eu, a network and media platform for European human rights organisations. Liberties has members in almost 20 countries, and publishes news stories, feature articles and multimedia reports about their work. The platform operates on an inclusive language policy: content is published in all member languages.
I am in charge of all translations between Swedish and English. To date, I have translated over 900 texts about human rights and civil liberties in Europe. The following are a few samples:
An article about censorship of a children’s book in Lithuania, a petition for transparency in the EU-Cuba negotiations, an interview with one of the organisers behind Belgrade Pride, and subtitles for this video.
